Ahhh, the poncho. No longer merely reserved for Mexican themed costume parties! After having a lil' sneak peak at what next winter has to offer at an a/w12 season preview last night, I'm seriously gaga for the Navajo inspired knits-à la the poncho! Naturally, I got a teeny bit too excited and spent practically half a week's pay on wintery garments before remembering that it is only January and I've still got quite a few warm weeks ahead of me. From the creative mind of Sportsgirl stylist, Monica Morales, and some help from a cute bronze belt and a heavy-duty paper clip- I give you the poncho skirt. Go on ladies, bask in it's glory.

Gold & Rose, the colour of the dream I had.

Did I slip into a coma for six months and wake up in June? All this rain has me thinking it's winter and it's slowly driving me insane! Thankfully yesterday, the sun decided to come out and play- meaning I could ditch the jacket and tights for once and have some fun with my outfit. Rose gold accessories have become my current obsession as of late and right now, I just cannot get enough of the metal belt from Sportsgirl- it's definitely stopped me lusting after the one I spotted in Sass & Bide a few months ago. Then again, you can never have too many metallic belts..
